Terms of Service:

At The Brow Guru, we strive to help our clients look and feel their best. Building trust is an essential part of our process and it is important for our clients to understand their part in achieving a positive threading experience. Please take a few minutes to read through our service agreement and booking policy outlined below.


Pre-Care Steps: Before Your Appointment

Arrive at your appointment with clean, makeup-free skin. Avoid using any active skincare products at least 48 hours before your appointment (for example: retinol, exfoliants, AHA/BHA, etc.) If you have sensitive skin or any allergies, please let us know before your service. We recommend all clients do a dye patch test with us prior to booking an Eyebrow Tinting service.


Post-Care Steps: After Your Appointment

Please be sure to wash your face with a gentle cleanser and apply moisturizer immediately after your appointment. Avoid using oil-based skincare products and active skincare ingredients for 48 hours after your service. Also avoid hot showers, saunas/pools and working out/sweating for at least 12 hours after your service.

We do not recommend wearing makeup on the treated areas for at least 12 hours following your appointment. For Eyebrow Tinting clients, avoid any moisture or applying any products on your eyebrows for at least 24 hours after your service for best results.


Possible Risks

At The Brow Guru, we put a lot of time and care into providing our clients with a clean and careful service every time. Some redness and irritation on the treated skin is normal and expected, often subsiding within a few hours after the service. 

Although it is rare, there is a possibility of experiencing an adverse reaction. Following our pre/post-care instructions is a very important factor in minimizing the risk of this. If you do have an adverse reaction after a service, please reach out to us immediately so that we can provide you with additional aftercare recommendations.


Agreement

By booking an appointment, you agree to follow the guidelines in the terms of service listed above. You also understand and agree that The Brow Guru is not responsible for any unexpected reactions, infections or unsatisfactory results.


Booking Policy:

By booking an appointment with The Brow Guru, you agree to follow and respect our booking policy outlined below. 


Cancellations

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment. If the appointment is cancelledwithin 24 hours of the appointment time, you will be charged a Cancellation Fee of the full cost for the services booked

This also applies to same-day bookings which are subsequently cancelled. You must pay the Cancellation Fee in order to rebook. Repeated cancellations will require a non-refundable pre-payment for the service in order to rebook.


Late Appointments

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel your appointment.


No-Shows

No-shows will result in no future bookings.
